In brief: Public materials can be shared with anyone. Personal Use materials are meant for you alone, with limited exceptions for your spouse and children under 21 at home. Discourses, SATs, and Initiates' and Ministers' materials are not to be shared with anyone, including family.
Public Use
Anyone can purchase these materials. All books (except Discourses), audios, and videos designated "public" may be shared with anyone.
Personal Use
These materials are intended for the exclusive use of the owner. There is a special relationship between Spirit, through the Mystical Traveler Consciousness, and you as the owner of these materials. If you allow another person to listen to or view them, you (rather than Spirit) become responsible for what that person may initiate or release as a result.
For this reason, we strongly recommend keeping Personal Use materials private and letting anyone who is interested know they can get their own copies at www.msia.org.
Personal Use materials may be shared with your spouse and with children under 21 living at home, except for Soul Awareness Discourses, Soul Awareness Teachings (SATs), and all Initiates' and Ministers' materials.
Discourses
As a Soul Awareness Discourse subscriber, you work with the Mystical Traveler in a very personal and individual way. The Traveler uses the Discourse as a vehicle and focal point to guide you toward Soul awareness and to release whatever keeps you from experiencing your own divinity. If you allow someone else to read your Discourse, you (rather than the Mystical Traveler Consciousness) become responsible for what they release.
For this reason, we strongly recommend keeping your Discourses confidential and letting anyone who is interested know they can get their own.
SATs (Subscribers Only)
Anyone can subscribe to the Soul Awareness Teachings (SATs), but previously released SATs can only be purchased by active SAT subscribers. SATs are Personal Use materials, and we strongly recommend not sharing them with anyone, including immediate family. The Traveler works with SAT subscribers in the same way as with Discourse subscribers, so the same guidelines and responsibilities apply.
Initiates' and Ministers' Materials
Items marked "MSIA Initiates Only" or "MSIA Ministers Only" may be purchased only by initiates or ministers, respectively. They fall under the Personal Use category, so the same guidelines apply: if you allow another person to view or listen, you (rather than Spirit) become responsible for what that person may initiate or release as a result.
